Katherine Fischer


          Katherine S. Fischer has over thirty years of experience as a legal assistant and paralegal, with focuses on commercial and residential real estate, business entity formation and litigation support.  She has handled real estate transactions for buyers, sellers, title companies and banks.  She also has significant experience in the formation and organization of business entities – corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and limited partnerships – as well as the preparation of corporate resolutions, maintenance of corporate records and the purchase and sale of businesses.  Ms. Fischer has assisted in many mergers and acquisitions in the area.  Ms. Fischer also supports the firm’s attorneys in all phases of federal and state litigation, helping to prepare cases from initial intake, through commencement of suit, discovery, motion practice, trial and appeal.

          A native of Central New York, Ms. Fischer earned her legal assistant degree from Bryant & Stratton College in 1987 and is a 2001 graduate of the ABA-accredited Syracuse University Paralegal Program.  She lives in Cazenovia with her husband and two children.

Amanda M. Rocco

          Amanda M. Rocco has more than ten years of experience as a legal assistant and paralegal, focusing primarily on litigation support.  She is also experienced in residential real estate transactions, preparing title documents and paperwork and handling most day-to-day communications with real estate clients, bank personnel and opposing counsel’s office to move the transaction toward a successful closing.  Ms. Rocco has experience in forming limited liability companies, preparing estate planning documents, and drafting notices and petitions for eviction matters.

          Born and raised in the Syracuse area, Ms. Rocco graduated from Liverpool High School and was inspired to become a paralegal during a job shadowing experience her senior year.  She attended Bryant & Stratton College and obtained her degree in Paralegal Studies in 2006.  She lives in Minoa with her daughter.
